Challenge

During Betnacional activations at Sport matches, the client needed a way to validate the distribution of promotional items. The primary goal was to prevent the same person from redeeming an item more than once, even in a high-traffic environment such as a stadium on match day. The activation also needed to generate a lead database.

Hypothesis

We believed that a simple, straightforward validation flow using only the Brazilian CPF taxpayer ID as the entry key would keep the line moving quickly, prevent duplicate redemptions, and capture user data for future marketing initiatives.

Prototyping

Using the user flow as a foundation, we developed wireframes with support from Figma Make, which generated a sequence of navigable screens from prompts. This process accelerated the initial delivery and made rapid iteration with the team and stakeholders easier.

Testing

We tested the flow through internal simulations and with users in a controlled environment. We primarily evaluated response times, flow comprehension, and expected behaviors across the three planned scenarios:

  • A new, unregistered user
  • A registered user who has not yet redeemed an item
  • A user who has already redeemed an item at the current match

UI Design and Delivery

After validation, we applied Betnacional’s visual identity and developed a tokenized style guide, with colors, typography, spacing, and border radii defined as variables. The interfaces were documented with explanatory cards to support the development team’s implementation. The project was also delivered as a PDF containing an overview and instructions for use at future matches.
